FOR SKIN ~
1). Brightens skin complexion and is a natural bleach -
One of the most effective beauty benefits of papaya is lightening of your skin complexion. It contains natural bleaching properties.
In addition, its cleansing properties help clear the skin of impurities.
It leads to the end of discolouration.
Give yourself a papaya facial and you will be happier to see the results. Due to it's natural bleaching properties it will help in lightening those dark spots and acne marks. Papaya honey and lemon juice mixed together is the perfect cure to dark spots and discolouration.
You can gently rub the fleshy part of a small slice of ripe papaya on your face, neck, hands and legs. Allow it to dry, then wash it off with cold or normal water. Do this 3 or 4 times a week.
Another option is to make a face pack by mixing ½ cup of mashed ripe papaya and the juice of 1 lemon. Massage the mixture all over your face and neck. Leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing it off with cold water. Do this at least once a week.
Also, you can blend 1 cup of green papaya and 1 teaspoon each of vitamin E oil, honey and plain yogurt into a paste. Gently massage the paste onto your skin. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse it off with cool water.

The vitamin C is present in it helps in protecting skin cells against sun damage.removing tan from your skin due to the several enzymes it contains.You can mix Papaya with fuller's earth(multani mitti) & apply it on your skin for removal of skin tan to achieve beautiful,soft,supple,bright and glowing skin.It is also good for acne and pimple.You can also add few drops of honey in it.

Papaya makes your skin moisturised and smooth as it has water content in it.So make the use of H2O content in it, by first eating it and secondly by applying paste of it to your face mixed with a bit of honey.
Papaya is rich in water content that helps keep the skin soft, smooth and moisturized.
When blended properly, it can be used as an excellent face mask to hydrate your skin.
Blend ½ cup of ripe papaya into a fine paste. You can also add a little raw honey. Apply the paste all over your face and neck. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse it off carefully with cool water and pat dry your skin.
Include ripe papaya in your diet. You can enjoy this fruit as it is or blend it with other hydrating ingredients such as watermelon and cucumber to make smoothies.

For this mash ½ cup of overripe papaya.Add a few drops of raw honey and 1 tablespoon of milk.

Rub a small piece of raw papaya gently around the eye area for 5 minutes once daily to get rid of crow’s feet. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse it off with cool water.
Another option is to mix 1 tablespoon of ripe papaya pulp with a little bit of olive oil. Apply it on the affected area and let it sit for 20 minutes. Wash it off with cool water and apply a moisturizer. Repeat every other day.

When used regularly, the papain enzyme in raw papaya can weaken the hair follicles on your face to prevent regrowth. Ripe papaya also contains this enzyme but it is higher in raw papaya.
Mix ½ cup of raw papaya paste and ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder.
Apply this paste on the affected area and allow it to dry on its own.
Scrub off the paste, then rinse your face with warm water.
Do this once a week.
A papaya face pack can also help you reduce the unwanted facial hair that you are often tempted to bleach or wax or pluck.
13). Cuts and burns -
Another wondrous impact of papaya for skin is its amazing healing powers. The papain enzyme also helps to keep bacteria at bay and prevents the wound from infection. Just rub some of the fleshy bit on your cuts and burns. This is a great soother for kids who will probably hate to have astringent used to clean their wounds.

♢ For Oily Skin:
Papaya is an excellent exfoliator and removes dead cells and absorb excess oil.
For extremely oily problematic skin, you can combine it with a tablespoon of fuller’s earth (multani mitti) as described above also in this article.
Add rosewater to make a paste, apply it on the face and leave it on till it dries.
This papaya facial for oily skin will make your face smooth, dry and spotless on regular application.
♢ To treat loosened saggy skin -
Skin may loosen for various reasons from excessive waxing and threading to ageing, but here’s a super-easy way to treat it.
Just chop papaya into small pieces, take the egg white from one egg and mix it with your papaya to create a sticky mixture.
Spread this on your face and allow it to dry.It will give you a feeling of your skin tightening in a few minutes.
When it’s completely dry, wash your face gently and feel your skin getting firmer by the day.
If you don't want to use egg.As I am pure veg.and I don't use egg so I use oil like olive or almond oil instead of it.If you feel you can use curd or yogurt too.
♢ For Glowing Skin -
Take chopped pieces of papaya and squeeze the juice out of one orange and add it into it.
Make a paste and apply the papaya fruit face pack.
Orange being a citrus fruit, acts as a natural astringent and keeps the skin dry.It is loaded with high content of Vitamin C and is excellent when used with papaya for spot and blemish reduction, and of course, to give you that instant glow.
You can also substitute orange juice for lemon juice for instant skin brightening, provided your skin isn’t too sensitive.
FOR HAIR ~
1). Hair nourishment -
In addition to skin, papaya is very beneficial for your hair. This fruit is rich in several minerals, vitamins and enzymes that can boost hair growth and strength.
It can even add thickness,volume and shine to your hair as well as control baldness. Papaya also contains protein that helps reduce split ends.
To make a papaya hair mask, blend 1 cup each of ripe papaya, ripe banana and yogurt along with 1 tablespoon of olive or coconut oil or almond oil. Apply this mask to damp hair. Cover your hair with a shower cap for 30 minutes, then rinse it out with warm water. Use this hair mask once a week to enjoy healthy hair.
Also, regularly eat papaya. You can include both raw and ripe papaya in your diet.
2).Dandruff control -
To treat and control dandruff, papaya is very useful. Several enzymes in papaya help prevent the buildup of oil and impurities on the scalp, which is one of the causes of dandruff.
Blend 1 raw papaya thoroughly until there are no lumps.
Add ½ cup of yogurt and mix well.
Apply this mixture on your scalp as well as hair for extra shine.
Leave it on for 30 to 40 minutes, then wash it off with cold water.
Finally, shampoo your hair.
Use this remedy once or twice a week to treat dandruff.
Warning
The enzymes and alpha hydroxyl acids in papaya may irritate skin, especially sensitive skin. Always apply a test patch on your inner elbow to confirm if papaya is suitable for your skin.

It can moisturizer your hair with it's hair conditioning properties.
You can blend papaya with milk and then apply it on your hair and scalp.It not only soothes your scalp but moisturizes and adds hair conditioning.You can also add some honey for better results.
4). Cleanser -You can use above receipe for cleansing you hair.And you can also make a hair pack along with curd or yogurt,some olive oil & few drops of honey.Fuller's earth is also good for hair so you can add it too.Apply it for 1/2 an hour and rinse it with cool water thoroughly.
