Today, I am writing a review on   Dove Hair Therapy Intense Repair Shampoo .
This review is also based on my experience and it will help you know about this product. So let's get started.........

First of all, let me tell you Dove is a personal care brand owned by Unilever that has originated in the United Kingdom. Dove products are manufactured in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, Germany, India, Indonesia, Israel, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey and United States. Dove was introduced in 1955. It has related brands Dove Men+Care & Baby Dove. The products are sold in more than 80 countries and are offered for both women and men. Dove's logo is a silhouette profile of the brand's namesake bird. Vincent Lambert was granted the original patents related to the manufacturing of Dove in the 1950s, while he was working for the Lever brothers.

This formula with Keratin Actives helps fortify proteins at the cellular level, reduces breakage and gives you strong hair^.

Directions : Apply to wet hair , lather then rinse. For best results use daily and follow with Dove Intense Repair Conditioner. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly.

 ♧♧♧ MY EXPERIENCE ♧♧♧ 

I purchased 340ml pack of Dove Hair Therapy Intense Repair Shampoo worth ₹ 250. At present, it is coming at just ₹ 210.  The pack with 650ml of content comes at ₹ 450. The product also comes in smaller packs and at lower prices according to net content.

You can buy this product at online shopping stores too.

  APPEARANCE & PACKAGING : 

The product comes in a white color plastic bottle with a flip. It is quite simple packaging. Product details are written in blue shades and golden & silver colors are also used on it. Details with ingredients are written in blue colour. They are so conjusted and not easy to read. Better could be expected from the company regarding packaging. However, it is easy to use and hygienic too. Smaller pack will be more travel friendly.

             

The product I purchased is made in India, MKTD. By HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LTD. (HUL).

Product is white in color and texture is smooth shiny. Fragrance is mild and very pleasant. It smells fruity with super nice fragrance and refreshes your scalp and mood. It is easy to use. You have to just take product according to your hair length and thickness and apply it on wet hair. I always recommend to dilute every shampoo with little water before applying it on your scalp and hair as it lessens the ill-effects of chemicals present in the shampoos. At present, almost every shampoo contains chemicals no matter they are normal or herbal. So, always dilute your shampoo with little water before applying. Do not add too much water as it will decrease the good quality of shampoo.

It is written on the pack that it should be applied daily followed by Dove Intense Repair Conditioner but I always advice you to rinse your hair alternatively or 2-3 times a week. Daily wash may take out natural oils from your hair leaving them dry. Very dry hair can damage easily.

2). Hygienic and travel friendly packaging.

3). Smooth and shiny perfect textured shampoo.

4). Mild, pleasant, fruity smell that refreshes your scalp & mood.

5). You need product according to the length & thickness of your hair.

6). It soothes your scalp & hair.

7). Improvement in hair texture is seen from first wash.

8). It repairs the damaged hair.

9). Prevents breakage of hair.

10). Makes hair smooth.

11). Provides nourishment to the hair and dry hair appear nourished after wash.

12). Strengthen hair at cellular level.

13). Reasonable price and affordable.

14). Contains Sunflower seed oil & some natural ingredients.

15). Good for dry and damaged hair.

1). Not so attractive packaging.

2). Details including ingredients are written in so conjusted way and appears not so easy to read.

3). More can be expected when it comes to the hair therapy and hair damage solution.

   CONCLUSION :-   

The product is nice and you can use it. It was said that certain products contain tallow that is derived from animal fat instead of vegetable oils. Few people said that Dove also contain it but if it contains tallow then it should be written on the pack according to legal policies and rules & regulations. I couldn't find tallow written on the shampoo so it means it doesn't contain it. However, every product including shampoos must be cruelty-free and not tested on poor animals. You can use this product. It is nice for dry & damaged hair and can give your hair a nourished feeling. :)
