You have been using Vaseline  from quite a long period of time. When winters are on arrival, Vaseline is found almost in every home. You have been using Vaseline on your lips to save them from drying and to avoid chapped lips. Some of you are also using it on your cracked heels to heal. 

It was a point of discussion that vaseline in long run can make your lips more dry. However, still no proper evidences available. It is indeed a point of research.

BTW you are well aware about the uses of Vaseline on your lips and to heal cracked heels. You also apply it on your skin. But, still there are many uses that can surprise you. Well, in today's blog I am going to tell you Uses Of Vaseline That Can Surprise You..so keep reading...

  USES  OF  VASELINE  THAT  WILL  SURPRISE  YOU   

1).   Avoid Chapped Lips :-

You already know about it. Apply Vaseline on lips and it will avoid chappy lips providing moisture to your lips. During cold breezes in winter, it can protect your lips from appearing dry. If you have dry lips or chappy lips, you can simply apply Vaseline on your lips to treat them.

Vaseline also provides prevention against chafing and chapped skin. This petroleum jelly product can help prevent windburns and chapping while running, especially in winters.

You can apply Vaseline to the areas that are prone to chafing. This is helpful in prevention against further rashes or irritation.

2).   Heal Cracked Heels :-

Vaseline serve as a very good treatment to heal cracked feet. It not only treat cracked heels but makes your feet softer. You can apply it on your body parts to prevent dryness and to keep your whole body soft, smooth and supple.

The best way to apply it for feet is to rub a coat of Vaseline on your feet at night. You can wear a pair of clean socks after applying before going to sleep.

Vaseline is helpful in sealing the moisture. It stays on the surface of the feet for longer hours than other water–based lotions, thus promoting quicker healing. Water cannot stay on your skin surface after applying Vaseline. Due to this, it locks the moisture of the skin and avoid it's loss.

3).   Soft Elbows :-

Vaseline is helpful in softening of elbows. You can simply apply or rub Vaseline on your dry and cracked elbows before sleeping to soften them.

And you will notice the change yourself. Vaseline moisturises the elbow removing dryness and will heal it. Regular use of vaseline can protect cracked elbows and avoid dryness of skin there.

4).   As A Skin Highlighter :-

If you want to highlight your skin whether you love to put on make up or not, you can use Vaseline. Yes, you can give a little dab of Vaseline on your cheekbones and brow bones. This can give you a dewy touch to your look and serve as a skin highlighter adding glow to your skin.

5).   For Eyebrows :-

Eyebrow grooming is very common and is very important. But, in case you had not gone to shape or tame eyebrows, then Vaseline can help you.

Just apply some Vaseline on your eyebrows and it will give you a look like you have just gone through eyebrow grooming giving you a tidy look.

6).    For Frizzy Hair & Split Ends :-

If you have frizzy hair and split ends, then Vaseline can be a solution to this problem.

You can take a tiny amount of vaseline and then you can apply it on your hair. This will defrizz your hair. Only a tiny amount is required here as more vaseline can cause your hair greasy and sticky. You can use Vaseline to seal split ends to conceal the dryness at the ends.

7).   For Cuticles :-

Vaseline is helpful in cuticle care. It protects and repairs dry cuticles. Application of Vaseline on hands gives you soft hands. It is good for hand care too. You can massage on nail bed and fingernails before sleeping. You can put on gloves too.

8).   As A Lip Scrub :-

You can use Vaseline lip scrub to get soft and pink lips. It is a gentle exfoliator to the lips. Just take sugar and mix it with small amount of Vaseline. Now, gently massage on your lips by applying it. After it, wipe it out and now you can applying lip balm to your lips.

Some makeup artists like to apply Vaseline and then rubbing it by a soft toothbrush before applying lipstick.

Vaseline lip scrub not only make your lips soft and pink but it also moisturises your lips.

9).   Avoid Lipstick Stains :-

Rub Vaseline on your teeth before wearing a lipstick and it will prevent the lipstick stains on your teeth.

10).   Hair Color  On Skin :-

Apply Vaseline on your forehead and face where there are chances of getting hair color stains while coloring your hair. It will prevent hair color stains on your face.

11).   Eye Makeup Removal :-

You can use Vaseline to remove eye makeup gently. Just simply wipe it off with Vaseline and don't forget to rinse it off to avoid any irritation.

12).   False Eye Lash Removal :-

Take Vaseline on a cotton bud and swab it on false eye lashes. Let the glue soften for some time, and then wash it off with warm water.

13).   Fix Zippers :-

Many a times, you all experience this issue and it is quite irritating when zipper gets stuck and not work properly. You can apply a little vaseline on the both sides of the zipper and it will unstick easily. Candle wax is also rubbed to fix this issue.

14).   Fix Drawers :-

Many times, stuck drawer is an annoying thing. To fix it, just apply vaseline and the drawer will open smoothly then.

15).   Increase The Life Of Perfume :-

Vaseline can help perfume last longer. You can apply vaseline over you neck and wrist. After this, you can spray perfume there. The smell of perfume will remain alive for the whole day.

16).   Lit Fire :-

Whether you are going for camp or you are planning it at home or you need to just lit a fire to spend sometime outside your house. Just take vaseline on a cotton ball and then lit fire. It can serve as a perfect fire starter. As we all know, vaseline is a petroleum jelly. Always be cautious with it.

17).   Fix Nail Polish Bottle :-

You have noticed that you face difficulty in opening nail polish bottle specially after one use. This is due to the bail polish accumulated over the bottle neck. You can apply a little bit of vaseline on nail polish bottle neck so that it can be opened easily next time.

18).   Make Your Own Lip balm :-
