You can also make your pure amla hair oil at home. Here is the recipe and steps.
India gooseberry or amla fruit (or powder) and extra virgin coconut oil are the main ingredients in pure amla oil. There are a number of recipes for making your own amla oil at home, including the use of amla powder, differing amounts of oil, as well as dried or fresh fruit or fresh fruit juice. However, I am telling you the simple recipes that will yield pure amla oil and which I prefer to use. There it is -

Ingredients  are :

You can take
fresh amla fruit (grated) or amla slices or fresh amla juice.
Take extra virgin coconut oil.

Step 1 – Squeeze out the juice from the grated amla fruit or take fresh amla juice.

Step 2 – Now you can add the coconut oil to the pure amla juice.

Step 3 – You can mix these two ingredients thoroughly.

Step 4 – Heat this mixture to a low flame. Always take precaution as it contains oil.

Step 5 – Now, allow to cool.

You can pply this oil to the hair and scalp in roots following the right procedure of hair oiling. Else you can also keep it bottle. Sieve it before pouring into the bottle if you want for further use.
                          OR,
Step - 1 You can take amla slices of gratings in an iron pan. Now, you can add coconut oil or any oil into it. If you don't have any other oil, you can also add good quality of vegetable oil too.

Step - 2 Now put it on low flame heat. After sometime put off the flame and let it cool.

You can simply put amla and oil in iron container in sun heat too. But it will take long if it's winters. Also amla tends to absorb oil. However, it also works well.

Step - 3 Now, take out the oil leaving solid particles and pour it into a clean bottle to use it whenever you want.

3). Natural Hair Dye/Color :-

Amla maintains the black color of oil.
It also adds color black to your hair.
A mixture of amla and shikakai powder can be used to color the hair naturally. A mixture of henna, amla, shikakai powder is also used to dye hairs naturally. Some herbs are also added to it to give more shine.

4). Prevents Premature Hair Greying :-

Amla is capable of preventing premature hair graying.
The antioxidants present in amla helps in maintaing color of hair and enrich the pigmentation of the hair. Topical application of gooseberry in the form of powder or paste nourishes the scalp and prevents premature greying.
However, it depends on the person. The reason why I am saying this is that greying of hair occurs due to loss of melanin. In this case, you can try it but it is not guaranteed that it will work. You can consult doctor in the treatment to stop premature greying of hair then. Because it is really hard to stop this. I had researched and observed many people even children too.

If you are a teenager having grey hairs or you are suffering from premature hair greying then you can use amla to color your hair. I am telling you all this honestly because it matters.

Amla or Indian gooseberry expediates hair growth.

5). Treats Severe Hair Fall :-

Indian gooseberry contains high levels of Vitamin C. It is very important for hair health too along with skin and eye health. It's deficiency can lead to severe hair fall when we talk particularly about hair health.
Amla provides sufficient amount of vitamin c preventing it's deficiency.

6). Treats Scalp Problems :-

Indian gooseberry is antibacterial in nature. It prevents the scalp problems  like eczema and dandruff. It clears the build-up from the scalp, reducing itchiness of the scalp.

Amla or Indian gooseberry treats hair problems.

7). Treats Dandruff :-

Amla is helpful in treating oil. You can apply amla oil or pack to treat dandruff. But, amla alone can make hairs drier too. So, use in desirable way.
You can use this recipe of amla shampoo or cleanser that is used from many years are is recommended by our grandmas.

Follow these steps :
You can take dried amla and boil it with reetha and shikakai in water for 10 minutes. Now, leave this solution overnight, drain and use it for washing your hair. And your natural amla shampoo is ready.
Interestingly enough, amla and it's juice is useful for hair health in many different ways, and it can be both consumed and topically applied. Drinking amla juice supplies minerals, antioxidants, and nutrients that promote hair.

However, if you topically apply this juice to your scalp, you can also help to soothe inflammation, stimulate the health of hair follicles and prevent dandruff. Finally, many people choose to mix amla juice with their hair products or organic hair washes, as this can help to improve shine and luster, particularly for those with brittle hair or split ends.
